Natalie meets Preston Bailey

I finally met Mr. Preston Bailey at Engage 08 in Celebration, Florida.  This was certainly an experience and moment I will always cherish.  Preston Bailey was one of the presenters at Engage 08.  I was very honored when he sat at my lunch table to have  a chat before his presentation.  I am sure he heard my heart poundingJ. He is a very humble and warm person.  I brought him a souvenir in case I had a chance to meet with him one on one.  So you can imagine how pleased I was when he sat at my table.  After talking for a few moments, I took out the souvenir which was a “shot glass” of St. Kitts, and gave it to him.  He accepted and said he’d never been to St. Kitts and was happy to receive the glass.

During his presentation “Inside the Wedding Studio” which he shared with Marcy Blum, another esteemed wedding planner to celebrities; they shared their experiences and how they started their businesses.  The tips they shared, I certainly shared with my staff and I know we’ll use them to create more stunning and simply beautiful weddings.

What I was absolutely impressed about with Mr. Bailey was his ability to listen and be able to speak with everyone who shared their stories and when he agreed to speak with our head designer, Mr. Sean Greaves who was unable to attend Engage 08, I was absolutely thrilled and so was Sean.

Preston even autographed his latest book, Inspirations for Sean and a copy for me as well.  Thanks Preston, you certainly made my day as it was always my dream to meet you one day.

So again a big thanks to Rebecca and Kathryn, the great ladies behind Engage 08.

Meet Chef Michel

Chef Michel was born and raised in the heart of France, where he developed a passion for pastries. He came to St. Lucia in 1992 to share that passion with the people and fell in love with the island.  This very creative chef trained many people who became very good in pastries today.  His passion took him around the world where he worked in very famous hotels, dealing with people like the Emir of Kuwait, Kofi Annan, Margaret Thatcher, The Prince of Wales and many more.  When it comes to pastries there are no limits with what he can do.  His wedding cakes are out of this world. He knows every good product and what goes with what.  He is a man of class and very sophisticated and detailed with his work. He is known to be the best on the island with out a doubt. Chef Michel is what you can obviously call the icing on your cake on your very special day, because he is indeed the perfect finishing touch for your wedding.
