Natalie John, Founder & CEO
Ms. Natalie John is the founder and CEO of Dreamy Weddings & Tours Inc. She holds a Bachelor's Degree of Commerce from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She majored in Marketing & Finance. She is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) and is a Certified Wedding Planner as well as a Lifestyle Specialist for Honeymoon & Destination Weddings.
Natalie is a genuine entrepreneur. She has spent most of her working life pursuing business development activities. In particular, she provided advice and technical assistance to various businesses in the Caribbean in her roles as Marketing Specialist in the Ministry of Commerce in St. Lucia, Export Credit Officer at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), and Manager, Registry, Issuer & Investor Services Division at the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE). Indeed, while she was at the ECCB she made an important contribution to the development of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange in her role as Issuer Team Leader. She eventually became the first employee of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange and continued to play developmental, operational and managerial roles in the ECSE until she resigned from the ECSE in 2005 to manage her own business.
Specifically, she took up full time employment as CEO of Dreamy Weddings & Tours Inc., the company she founded. She has considerable expertise and experience in working with couples to plan their dream weddings on cruise ships or at the many majestic wedding locations in the Caribbean islands.
She also works with a number of Caribbean Governments in creating a policy environment supportive of destination weddings, including the amendment of their respective Marriage legislations to remove or reduce residency requirements and to make the wedding process much more convenient, efficient and simple. She has been featured and or cited in various media including Destination Weddings & Honeymoon magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Caribbean Travel & Life magazine, Pride magazine, Sunquest Skyservice in-flight magazine, Sky Writings, the Air Jamaica in flight magazine, Island Where magazine, She Caribbean and San Juan Star.
Ms. John's company, Dreamy Weddings & Tours Inc., has administrative offices in St. Lucia and St. Kitts which provide administrative and managerial support to its many agents and planners offering wedding services in 13 Caribbean destinations. Dreamy Wedding & Tours Inc. also has marketing representatives in New York and Baltimore, USA. The activities of Dreamy Wedding & Tours Inc. are complemented by the services of nofrillsweddings.com, a second company formed by Natalie to cater specifically to the needs of budget-conscious clients.
