As Natalie John celebrates 20 years as a wedding planner, the savvy and trend-forward entrepreneur oversees a portfolio of growing businesses. The Dreamy Wedding Group, which began as a humble St. Kitts wedding planner, has evolved to include ceremony, reception and tour planning on 15 Caribbean islands; a floral and décor arm for events; vacation rentals; and Natalie’s newest enterprise, Elite St. Kitts, offering concierge travel services such as tour excursions, entertainment bookings and meeting planning.
Along with her tight-knit team of long-time employees, Natalie masterminded the Dreamy 20 Weekend, featuring both a group vow renewal event designed for dozens of couples from around the world, and an educational breakfast at which travel-industry professionals will learn from renowned wedding experts.
Recognized by leading media outlets and recipient of the Caribbean Wedding Planner of the Year and St. Kitts Business Excellent Awards, Natalie dabbled in several careers before bringing her talents to the business of romance. In addition to being a certified wedding specialist, she is a Chartered Governance Professional (FCIS) and a trained florist with experience in securities, tourism marketing and export credit. Raised in Saint Lucia, she studied commerce, finance and marketing at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Based in St Kitts, Natalie continues to innovate, finding new ways to pamper discerning couples, assist corporate groups planning Caribbean events, and help island tourism officials give visitors exceptional vacation experiences.
The Dreamy Wedding Group includes Dreamy Weddings & Tours Inc., Dreamy Floral & Décor Bar Ltd., Dreamy Rentals and Elite St. Kitts. Among its clients are Park Hyatt St. Kitts, St. Kitts Marriott Resort, Kayan Jet (formerly Yu Lounge), Kittitian Hill’s BelleMont Farm, Christophe Harbour Marina, and Christophe Harbour’s Luxury estate.
